Homeownership... not all it's cracked up to be

Ok, so first we have our window shot with a bb... and we're still waiting to find out how much it'll cost to get it repaired and how soon (and the one repair guy furthered the damage by breaking the glass to measure the thickness of the glass so now it looks really trashy to boot.) We've also had a "new" leak in the basement that we are finally getting around to reparing... figures that it had to be behind my can rack that's totally full and rather hard to move!! I think the concrete repair stuff sets up faster than anything we've ever used before, which was kinda cool. Hopefully we'll get the dry-lock painted onto it today and that'll be the end of it. (Crossing our fingers.) On the plus side.. I'm finally getting my food storage a bit more organized again!
To top it all off, though... as we were working on the crack on Saturday we heard a large noise and David said "I think that was the gutter on the side of the house." Crap. Really? Yep, that was it. Even with the removal of all the icicles the weight was too much and the entire gutter on the 2nd story portion of our house has come off. And bent all to heck (in other words not re-usable.) I'm not even sure where to start on getting that fixed. We don't own a ladder tall enough to even reach it!! And how do we get a long section of gutter home from Lowe's to install it?? It's probably time to call some roofers. Anyone have any recommendations on who to use??

I recommend we sell the house and move.

haha. (at the previous comment)
There are your three things gone wrong...your house should be quiet for awhile, right?
Doesn't Matt Carlson do that type of work still? If you have Chelsea's email, that could be one cheap way of getting it done. If not, see if Adam Rosenberg would do it. He's so handy like that (he totally reshingled his house this last fall).
Good luck.
