Here's what David and I did on Saturday:
We started in Foster and headed north. I don't know where we were
when we finally turned around but the whole ride ended up being 14 miles!
There was a lot of beautiful scenery along the way:
Here's a dry waterfall. It was cloudy and kinda dark so it's not the best picture,
but it sure was pretty in person!
There was even a pasture with some horses!
I told David the people who live here have my dream set-up: a house on a small river where I could go kayaking and room for a couple of horses. Maybe some day.
We're hoping to go back sometime in the near future.
This is a beautiful, well-kept trail. Well worth the short drive!
(The next ride will be a little shorter, though. David is stuck in bed on his back
because he overdid it. Ooops. Hopefully he's still thinking it was worth it!)

Our family loves that trail too. It's always hard to remember that you have to ride back the same distance that you've traveled out...
I was wondering how his back would do riding a bike! Sorry to hear it laid him up.
That is a beautiful area. I have never riden a bike there, but have walked a bit of it.
How beautiful! I love the trees. The shade of the trees sure make it a lot cooler while riding too!
Beautiful!!
Such a pretty area! Sounds like a great day, even if it did land David in bed...
ooooh! I want to go, too!
we love that trail. our dog on the other hand doesn't. he can't stand to run or ride in the trailer we have for him. our kids love the horses too.
