Here's Aimee on the 1908 Carousel in Riverfront Park, Spokane, WA. I had never ridden a carousel before that lets you grab rings as you go around and that definitely added to the fun on this ride!
Here's a picture of one of the lions at the Cat Tales Zoological Park in Spokane.
If you look close you can see that he's got his tongue hanging out!
They told us that this lion was raised with a chow-chow and learned a lot

Here's a great view from the Swinging Bridge in Spokane. I'd love to go back someday and do some hiking in this area!
This photo was taken at my Aunt Judy's house in Sammamish, WA (just outside Seattle.) She loves feeding the birds but sometimes gets other visitors! We came home to find this cute guy helping himself to some of the birdseed.
Our vacation was absolutely fantastic. We managed to see some of the sights around Spokane, saw the Wild Horses Monument on the drive to Seattle, saw Snoqualmie Falls and Rattlesnake Lake, visited the Locks in Seattle, the Aquarium, Pike's Place Market and the Space Needle. In between all this sight-seeing we also had plenty of time to visit with family and play with our niece and nephew. Even the flights to and from were uneventful and easy. All in all, this was one of our best vacations!
