Uplifting thought of the day for Women (Sorry guys!)

"I feel to invite women everywhere to rise to the great potential within you. I do not ask that you reach beyond your capacity. I hope you will not nag yourselves with thoughts of failure. I hope you will not try to set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. I hope you will simply do what you can do in the best way you know. If you do so, you will witness miracles come to pass" (The Teachings of Gordon B. Hinckley, p. 696).

What a comforting thought- just do what you can do the best way you know how and don't worry and fret about all the things that are beyond your capacity at this time! Be patient with yourself and give yourself time to learn and grow to your full potential! And don't forget to take time to enjoy the miracles that come!!

I love that! Thank you for the reminder! I miss President Hinckley.

P.S. I love your picture in your header. Is that one that you took? If so, where is it?

Yep, the photo is one I took out at Pyramid Hill Park in Hamilton.

Thanks for sharing this quote. I need to be reminded of this on a regular basis. It goes along with what I've learned recently about enduring "well enough for now."
